Cheese Latkes

It's Chanukah. Chanukah is symbolic of three kinds of food: Oil, milchigs, and chocolate (as in gelt). This delicious recipe combines two of the three: Cheese and Oil. It's easy to prepare and absolutely delicious. It's not bad nutrition-wise either, as it does have protein in it... This is one dish I've been making for sixteen years and is almost always a hit. And guess what, a treat: A picture! For the very first time! Because I made it tonight...

4 tablespoons flour
3 tablespoons sugar
1 serving vanilla sugar
3 eggs
1/2 pound farmer cheese

Mix it all together with a hand mixer or a fork. Heat oil in a frying pan and drop them in by the spoonfuls. The smaller the latkes the tastier they are. When they are turning golden brown around the edges, flip them with a spoon or fork and let fry on the second side.

DELICIOUS!!!!

  2. I make these all the time. Although truth be told, they aren't particularly healthy. My recipe admittedly has more sugar though...
